Hike+pictures= FUN

We decided since the hike was so great the day before why not take some great picturesw of the girls so this can be one of mommys new places to take clients for pictures. It was really cold but both girls had so much energy going up the hill they didnt' mind the wind at all. We got a few great shots and boy oh boy they were team playsers for sure. I think they are just used to us taking so many pictures it's almost become part of their day. After we changed the girls and took them to play for a while in the park before we went home.

They are becoming so close.

Hiking with mommy

Today Michelle invited us to go on a stroller friendly hike. Being that it's been a while since mommy has worked out I knew I needed to go. Avery also loves hanging out with her brother Tony and Anessa (how she says it). We got to Citric Ranch Park and had a great time. The hike was just right for us since it's been too long and the girls did even better than we did. Arianna even tried to do it on her own for a while but once it got to steep she wanted the stroller. We had a great time and the toddler area was just right for Arianna's size.

Sleeping Beauty

Today was a busy day and I took Aver with me to get a few things done. As we left the house it was Arianna's nap time, I gave my little Monkey a kiss and left. When I got back dad had captured some really cute pictures of Arianna sleeping on Avery's bed. I asked if he put her there and he began to tell me what she did;

Arianna "night night dad dad" Kevin "are you tired baby" Arianna "Yeess" Kevin "if your sleepy go to your room and lay down" Arianna "tay" when Kevin went to the room a few min after her he thought he would have to put her in her bed but she had got into Avery's big girl bed, put the covers over her, and went to sleep on her own...she looked like such a big girl!

Chaney Family Game Night...

It's been months since Avery's asked for UNO Moo. She's wanted this game since she seen the commercial before Christmas last year. We went to every Toy's "R" Us in our OC area and even two in the LA area...but no UNO Moo. We've been trying to do game night at least once a week together as a family and this was just one more game to add to our four other games we have. She's already perfected her Candyland she got from Uncle Cliff and we started to buy her more games after we had a game night with Olivia a while back. She's still not a good loser but boy oh boy when she wins she's excited!

So for this game night we decided to make some cookies, clean the living room floor and put Monkey (Arianna) in the high chair with some snacks to keep her entertained for a few minutes. It worked for all of 10 min and than daddy had to get up and play her Harmonica every five to ten minutes. It was a fun night and I love watching Avery start the games not really understanding and ending it a pro!

...starting game one...

It only took her 10 min to get the hang of the game!

Avery won...UNO MOO!!!

cravings, errands, and fun with daddy...

After buying a few things for our friends for Easter with Avery I decided to call Kevin and see if he would finally come out with me to Red Lobster. I've been craving Lobster tail for months now and the last whole lobster my in laws bought me didn't tast to great. Sooo Mommy made the call and daddy said "alright fine" so we decided to make it a family evening and headed out to get some lobster. After eating we decided why not go see dad play basketball? We got a few things we might need and headed out to see our uncles and daddy play ball...it was fun and Avery got to see her cousin Deja who she loves to hang out with when ever she get's a chance! Arianna on the other hand wanted out of my hands to be with daddy. She's been stuck on daddy more and more in the past few weeks it's starting toget hard to do anything.

Well we had a good time seeing everyone and watching daddy and uncles play ball!

Today we went to a Family Vaughn event it was uncle Doug 60th birthday. It was really nice to see the family and best of all Kevin remembered going when he was younger! I think memories like that are memories to cherish and hold close to your heart. The girls had fun and Avery loved seeing her cousins. She has a special interest with Clare Bear as she tried to teach her some ballet moves...it was so cute I was sad I forgot my camera but none the less it was a momment I'll never forget.
